Keyword Text Validation

Keyword or text validation allows you to specify keywords to be verified on a page each time the page is loaded.  Keywords are available in several different kinds of monitoring tasks including some ServerView, BrowserView and UserView tasks. Keyword validation allows you to specify one keyword phrase per line.  A keyword phrase consists of one or more words in exactly the same format as they appear on the page.  You cannot include multiple keywords from different locations on a website in one keyword phrase. RIA Picture Validation

Glossary: RIA Picture RIA Picture Content Validation is a function available from the left-hand menu of the EveryStep Script Editor under Content Validation. Pressing the “RIA Picture” button allows you to click and drag your mouse cursor to select an area of the page. This creates an image of the selected area that is stored for later verification during monitoring.  You can view images captured this way by clicking on the “Picture List” tab in the bottom frame of the EveryStep Scripting tool under the “Picture List” tab. RIA Picture

“RIA Picture” recording allows you to validate the existence of a particular image or section on a page. Image Validation technology is used to take a snapshot of a reference image to make a per-pixel comparison.
