DNS Options: Custom DNS Hosts

This field contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name. MetricsView Linux Agent (collectd)

The MetricsView Collectd Linux agent is a plug-in that aggregates various system metrics and sends them to Dotcom-Monitor. While this agent supports over 90 metric by default, the current release is limited to five metrics: cpu, memory, interface (network), disk and df (space usage). The agent is written on python 2 and utilizes open source “requests“. Full Page Download

Select whether you wish to perform a simple download of only the html, to download all of the elements on the page, or some subset of the elements.  If you select yes, a section will appear that contains check boxes to choose which additional elements you wish to download along with the html. The agent parses the HTML into elements measuring each for availability and load time from the server. NOTE: To measure the render time for each individual element, including javascript, etc…the browser-based platforms BrowserView or UserView are required.

Get / Post Parameters

Depending on what type of request you send, a Get or a Post, the additional parameters will change to reflect the selection.  These are parameters that will be appended to the url following a question mark and separated by an ampersand: https://www.example.com?GetParam1=Value1&… Get Parameters Name Specify the name of the parameter as it will appear in the request. Value Enter the value associated with the name of the parameter. Post Parameters Name Specify the name of the parameter as it will appear in the request. Basic Authentication

Keyword Content Validation

Content Validation Keywords are used to ensure that the expected content was loaded onto a web page. Keyword: You can specify one or more words or phrases that you wish to search for in the web page content.  If the expected keywords are not found the task will return an error. SNMP Monitoring
