Understanding Web Application Monitoring Scripts

A web application monitoring script is a set of recorded commands which reflect user actions in a browser and contains information for a playback of those actions. If RIA Recording options were used, the script will also include reference images and additional data for a correct playback.

All EveryStep scripts can be fine-tuned and reconfigured by editing the script within the EveryStep Web Recorder and saving the script for future use or editing.

Each script is divided into steps. Pricing for a script playback is determined based upon the number of steps within the script.

For details on how steps are identified and priced, please visit the Web application monitoring pricing page.
