Secondary Logon Service

The EveryStep Scripting Tool utilizes the Windows “Secondary Logon” service. This service allows the Everystep Scripting Tool to execute processes under another user in system.

EveryStep Scripting Tool requires permission to run processes under another user due to peculiarities of Internet Explorer cache options. In cases where the EveryStep Scripting Tool is running on a system with Internet Explorer 10 or 11 installed on it, and Secondary Logon is not allowed, the browser cache will not be cleared properly which will likely cause problems with proper script playback and adjustments.

This is true only for systems with installed IE 10 or 11 and doesn’t affect those which has installed IE 9.
